Anonymity Statement

Under Our Rainbow™, Under Our Rainbow Shoppes™ and COAMAC Village™ hold the identity, the personal safety, integrity and emotional stability of all its members and supporters as a paramount principle of its existence. To that end, the directors, officers, employees and volunteers of our organization promise to uphold the anonymity of members as sacrosanct.

Under Our Rainbow has instituted checks and balances within our operating procedures to insure that anonymity is protected at all costs, with redundant systems in place to assure the integrity of personal information and anonymity.

Of course, all financial transactions performed on our web sites are completed in a secure environment using SSL technology and processes governed by Verisign. All credit card information and identifiable information such as names, addresses, phone numbers, etc. are contained in a database located off site from our corporate offices and accessible ONLY to financial employees of Under Our Rainbow, Inc. As a double blind safeguard, the employees having access to this information HAVE NO ACCESS to user names, "handles" and/or passwords which are, therefore, known only to the member who chooses them.

All other employees, volunteers, counselors and therapists know members ONLY by their user names and/or "handles" and have NO ACCESS to member passwords at all.

In this manner, anonymity is assured and allows each of our members and staff the freedom of expression and safeguard from identification and gossip. The fact that someone was abused as a child is private information to THAT victim, horrific in its subsequent damage to spirit, emotion and destruction of self esteem and ability to function in a balanced manner and, therefore, should ALWAYS remain the domain of the victim. Under Our Rainbow will protect that information with every resource we possess.

By logging in to the COAMAC Village™ "members only" area of our site, all users agree to the terms and conditions of participation listed and agreed to at the time of registration and assignment of a user name. Among other conditions, all members agree to NEVER identify themselves in any way, including but not limited to disclosing names, addresses, phone numbers, e-mail addresses, etc. Further, all members agree to NEVER attempt to identify other users in any way, shape or form.

Violation of any of these rules and agreements will result in immediate termination of membership, removal of all access rights to all sites and forfeiture of all paid membership dues. To the extent that any federal, state, local or international laws have been violated by any members' action in violating other members' anonymity, the offending member will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law and Under Our Rainbow will make information regarding the facts of the occurrence and all other information requested by accredited authorities to assist in the prosecution of such violations.
